Creating striped backgrounds for cards

All you need is: a ruler , colored markers (I've used the Stabilo Swanos), white card stock and lot of patience 😅. It's a cheap and funny way to create card backgrounds and I find it interesting because you can match the color of the stripes with the image or embellishments you already have and not the other way around that usually implies buying more expensive crafting paper (not sure I'm explained myself properly.... 😔😕) Anyways, I made diagonal stripes for three different cards, but you can choose the pattern you prefer: vertical, horizontal and, if you have a curve ruler, you can go for something even fancier! For my own sake, I changed color every 4 or 5 lines. For example, I drew 4 or 5 parallel lines with the yellow marker and then moved to the orange one and so on. Fire vibe soap: recipe, tricks and links to technical videos

I have mixed two techniques in order to obtain different patterns , one on the inside of the soap bar and one on the top. I've been dying to buy some of the Hero Arts color  layering  sets since months.
